StumbleThon is a new, caused-related college initiative aimed at rallying millennials ages 18 to 34 – which constitute 76% of our audience – to make a difference.
To kick off the program, we partnered with HootaThon with the goal of empowering people to raise money for the cause. Not only did we have a great time but in less than 12 hours 187,542 web pages were ‘Stumbled’ by over 500 students. StumbleUpon donated $10,000 to The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and helped HootaThon exceed their $100,000 fundraising goal. Check out some of our favorite photos from the day.
As a result of the joint success, StumbleThon will be making its way to other campuses aimed at serving the community. To apply to work with us on other college initiatives, email firstname.lastname@example.org
