Contiki developed an engaging quiz that that encouraged consumers to answer a series of questions to discover their travel animal spirit and ideal trip. After completing the quiz, participants could enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 Contiki travel voucher and custom t-shirt that featured their travel spirit animal. Contiki and its agency Ignited, partnered with StumbleUpon to drive Adults 18-35 to the What’s Your Spirit Animal? quiz by targeting relevant interests such as: Travel, Hotels, University/College, Europe, Australia, Nightlife, Bargains & Coupons.
The Contiki quiz received a user approval score of 83%, which exceeded benchmarks by over 30%, indicating the content resonated highly with consumers. Average time spent on site of 1:26 exceeded benchmarks by 2.5x. The site earned thousands in free visits from users engaging with the content.
